Preventing the spread of COVID-19 among the UW community
In connection with preventing the spread of COVID-19 among the UW community, The Rector of the University of Warsaw:
- Cancels lectures and classes with students, doctoral candidates, post-diploma learners (until 14th April 2020); Remote classes are an exception!
- Cancels open events, e.g. conferences, symposiums, open lectures, cultural events, etc. (until 30th April 2020);
- Suspends travels abroad and the participation of employees, doctoral candidates and students in national conferences (until 30th April 2020).
These changes become effective on 11th March.

Linking courses in USOS
From 3rd till 19 February 2020 in USOSweb it will be possible to link courses to particular study stages. This excludes some courses which were linked automatically, e.g. language courses continued after the winter semestre.

Obligatory course in Intellectual Property Rights
(POWI) for foreign students will take place in the summer semester; information about the date will be posted on the website at the beginning of the semester.
